Hold Onto Hope is a story about facing life with expectancy, finding beauty in the mundane, and living forward in hope no matter the circumstances .
I’M HAPPY TO MEET YOU
My country home is a sanctuary where I feel a profound connection with God, who has blessed me with the opportunity to extend warmth and hospitality to others. The invitation to open my doors to my country home in the valley is a heartfelt mission to create spaces filled with beauty and comfort. Whether in person or through online gatherings, I strive to share an atmosphere of welcome and hope, especially for those navigating their own valley of challenges. My aim is to foster connections and inspire others, reminding them that even in times of change, there is a light that can be found in community and in shared moments of joy.
The Message of Hold Onto Hope
I’m so excited to be friends and introduce my new transformative faith journal “Hold Onto Hope,” a new book for those needing support for this next phase of life.
My fifth decade, I found myself navigating the strange tension of transition and closed doors. I waited for God to change my circumstances and move me forward, however, instead of a change of circumstance, I experienced a change in me. A transformation of heart and perspective.
With the restructuring of my life came more time in my kitchen and home creating welcoming gathering spaces for women undergoing similar changes. I discovered that the joyous change I sought wasn't about proving myself or holding onto youth, instead, it was about growing deeper in my faith and growing into a new season. Slowly, I began to appreciate the simple joys of connection and beauty, embracing a slower pace. I traded my heels for loafers and let go of the younger version of myself who believed she needed to achieve and perform to feel valuable. I finally felt free to be me and embrace new opportunities filled with purpose, fulfillment, and beautiful surprises during this phase of life.
