Meet Jackie

Hi, I’m Jackie! I live in the picturesque hills of Valley Head, Alabama where I host charming spaces of graceful living and hospitality. I am a writer, self-published author, stylist, table keeper, and the creator of Finally Home, my “virtual bed and breakfast” brand devoted to faith, beauty, and belonging.

My work reflects a deep appreciation for the gathered table, the stories that shape us, and the grace found in coming home. My home is a gathering place — a space to savor faith, food, drink, coffee and collected pieces that have inspired Finally Home. I’m currently working on a published collection of “warm welcome” devotions, gathered moments, and seasonal menus from my home.

I am a former Ministry Director and Event Planner based in Melbourne, Florida. In addition to my professional roles, I dedicated myself to supporting marginalized women through my Life Skills Community Project. This initiative focused on helping these women grow in both faith and personal stability. My efforts with the project were recognized when I received a community award for the positive impact made. After a move to Birmingham, Alabama I organized community events and outreach initiatives in the Birmingham Metro area for women looking for friendship, connection, and enrichment. I co-authored a book for young women focused on identity and resilience, reaching several hundred readers, and created many values-based curriculum resources. In my work I hoped to inspire hope and resilience in my community through the comforts of home and hospitality.

My family and I now live in the country on 12 acres in the sweet town of Valley Head, Alabama with our black lab Emma Rose, Beatrice Buns our English Spot Rabbit, two horses and a goat. On our farm, I focus on writing, styling, hospitality, gathering, collecting mud boots & aprons, antiquing, art, cooking, gardening, and caring for our animals.
